From the desert of Arizona, Debbie Hansen brings you a unique twist on the wind chime.
When the Cholla cactus dies it leaves behind a woody skeleton full of holes. Debbie gathers & cleans these desert skeletons. Next she makes large fused glass sheets (called a "part sheet") with an all over pattern & color theme. She then cuts the sheet into strips or chimes and hangs them from the holes in the Cholla. The glass strips create a delicate sound and unique wind chime. The size will vary but generally is around 8” by 15” which includes the wire and hook for hanging.
The color theme depends on which part sheets she has been inspired to make. No two are exactly alike but all are beautiful. If desired, she will email you photos of the colors available before shipping.
