Jerry Hauck worked his magic on this mesquite crosscut, turning it into an amazing one of a kind piece of art. First it was painstakingly sanded, polished and sealed. Then hand forged copper staples were added to stabilize and accent the natural split. Finally a hammered copper band surrounds this gorgeous piece of wood and placed securely in a steel stand made by Diane Mattern of Omaha NE.
